Hi, I’m Wagner Laranjeiras.

I'm a 28 years old brazilian front end student, but that you already know. My wife and I moved to Germany in 2020. I graduated in Pedagogy in Brazil. I believe that any subject can be fascinating if you dive deep enough.

I understand learning as an ongoing proccess, which I enjoy a lot and am always motivated to take part of. I also believe that a good communication goes a long way both on your private and professional life, which enables me to work well with people (and some AIs).

I sometimes can get overwhelmed when learning something new, if the steps towards the goal aren't clearly defined. Knowing which tasks to prioritize as well as recognizing when my work is good enough are challenges I'm still learning to overcome. I'm also still improving my german, but I see that more as an adventure than a weakness.

I constantly hear that it's not much a matter of technical knowledge that teams are looking for in a partner, but motivation and soft skills. I surely offer that. And although I know there will always be something new to learn, I'm also aware that I can already contribute with the expertise that I've acquired so far. I'm eager to do so.
